Originally launched by Simon Cowell, the band were subsequently managed by Louis Walsh, but decided to bring the curtain down on their 14-year career in the summer of 2012. Appropriately, their final concert was scheduled for their hometown of Dublin and sold-out speedily.
Over a three month period The Farewell Tour travelled to more than 100 venues worldwide culminating in a spectacular homecoming concert to 85,000 fans at Croke Park Stadium in Dublin.
