一群年轻大学生搭着豪华游艇出海，比基尼、辣妹加上冰凉啤酒，完美又糜烂的海上假期，只是游艇在外海故障了，孤立无援的他们，迫不及待登上一艘路过的渔船...没想到救星变成煞星，他们是古老又神秘的“基尼”人，自1781年美国开国战争的英军战败后，少部分遗族就在亚特兰大外海的小岛上过着与世隔绝的生活，谣传他们长有脚蹼，可在水中自由行动。这群年轻人被渔夫迷昏后，被囚禁在小岛上受尽凌辱，有人被活生生的开肠剖肚，幸存者则想尽办法要逃离这群惨无人道渔夫，他们是否能活着离开死神的操弄呢？
A clan of watermen capture a crew of sport fishermen who must then fight for their lives.
A crew of watermen abducts persons in boats to grind their flesh and make bait. Six youngsters have their motor yacht sabotaged and they are stranded in the sea. The crew of a trawler rescues them and they drink spiked water and faint. When they wake up, they learn that they are trapped in an island and they have to fight against the sadistic men to survive.
A group of hot, rich, young things led by the dynamic Trailor (Jason Mewes) set out for a deep-sea fishing trip on a million-dollar yacht, but soon their fun turns into disaster when a fire damages their engine and they find themselves marooned in the middle of the ocean. Spotting a ship on the horizon they alert them to their distress and are rescued, but the crew aren't what they first seem and the dream trip turns into a nightmare as they fight for survival against the merciless clutches of  The Watermen.
