简　　介　
　　父亲是堂堂总统（迈克尔?基顿 饰），萨曼莎（凯蒂?霍尔姆斯 饰）从小便过着舒适无比的生活，日常中她处处有人照顾，根本不用她动手，她也十分反感受到太多的监护，她渴望得到更多的自由。此时，她接到了大学的录取通知，她对新生活的到来十分期待。
　　满心以为大学生活能让自己过上不一样的生活，萨曼莎从小不会做事的一点受到了同学们的嘲笑与捉弄，使萨曼莎灰心不已。同时，萨曼莎也遇到了自己的爱情，她与宿舍管理员詹姆斯（马克?布鲁卡斯 饰）恋爱了。恋爱生活为她带来了很多甜蜜与美好，她渐渐也忘了那些烦心的事。
