简　　介
　　第一段：华沙暴动期间，被女人们称为“傻子”的古柯维奇（Edward Dziewonski 饰）在德军轰炸中参加志愿兵训练，却因畏惧炮火跑回家中。一名匈牙利中尉奉命驻扎在他的家里，且与妻子关系暧昧。当得知匈牙利军队有意支持华沙暴动，古柯维奇开始在起义军和匈牙利人之间穿针引线，他摆脱德军哨卡抵达起义军营地时却被当做间谍看押，获释后的古柯维奇喝的酩酊大醉，在炮火连天的战场上游荡……
　　第二段：德军俘虏营中，又一批波兰军官被送至此处关押。其中扎克上尉为人孤僻，营房内的木箱是他栖身的所在，相对被视为英雄的逃狱军官，扎克个人主义的观点饱受争议，终于在一次放风时，扎克选择了逃跑……
