简　　介　
　　五年前，一系列模仿名画场景的连环杀人案轰动纽约城，警探斯坦（Willem Dafoe 饰）受命调查此案，然而却迟迟没有进展，令其饱受舆论压力。斯坦以少女克莉斯特（Samantha MacIvor 饰）作诱饵吸引凶手，虽然成功击毙嫌疑犯艾迪，却也导致克莉斯特惨遭杀害。
　　艾迪一案使斯坦得到警署嘉奖，顺利升职，不过他的心中始终对遇害少女怀有愧疚，并且此案背后似乎另有隐情。心中承受巨大内疚之情的斯坦沉溺酒精，愈加孤僻。五年后，类似案件再次出现，凶手似乎有意以斯坦为目标发出赤裸裸的挑战。斯坦不仅要面对这个狡猾且智商极高的对手，更要面对长久以来困扰自己的心魔……
