Downs和Ilana Glazer）发现了一个印有中文字样「穿越烟壶」的魔法物品，只要吸上一口，他们就能任意穿越时空。他们原本在郊区过着波澜不惊的平凡生活，所住的公寓也是祖母馈赠的，这个「时间机器」的出现彻底改变了他们的命运！他们时间旅行的第一站是马萨诸塞州的塞勒姆……正赶上女巫大审判最激烈的时候。随后他们还去了上世纪六十年代种族隔离问题严重的南方，古希腊，甚至「反乌托邦」未来。糟糕的是，他们的「穿越烟壶」在一次旅行过程中摔碎了，他们被迫在时空间的「连续统一」中来回跳跃。他们最终明白了一件事——没有哪个时代强过「现在」，他们应该好好珍惜现实才对。该剧4月20日、21日、22日三晚连续播出。
