简　　介
　　供职于科技公司KineTech的艾伦（大卫·艾根伯格 David Eigenberg 饰）潜心开发出超级自动化机器人史宾（Jae Head 配音）。史宾能够清楚感知人类情感，并逐步形成自己的人格。原指望将其用作和平用途，谁知KineTech的老板内尔斯·波特（Kim Coates 饰）却试图将其打造成破坏力巨大的杀伤性武器。极力反对的艾伦遭到解雇，他趁乱销毁电脑中的设计资料，并带着史宾逃亡。危难之际，他命令史宾独自逃走。不幸中弹的史宾意外结识了热爱科技和小发明的少年汉瑞（鲍比·科尔曼 Bobby Coleman 饰）。
