简　　介
　　为蔚蓝大海所环绕的斯里兰卡，此前被恐怖袭击的阴影所笼罩。一如既往喧嚣繁华的闹市街头，面色阴郁狰狞的秃头男子文森·迪亚斯（本·金斯利 Ben Kingsley 饰）穿梭于熙熙攘攘的人群中。他最终来到一幢废弃的建筑，登上顶层后有条不紊地布置手头的工作。在与妻子通话后，他拨通另一通电话。电话的另一头是警察快速反应中心的副总监莫里斯?达席尔瓦，文森声称已在首都科伦坡安放了5枚炸弹，解除炸弹的条件只有一个，那就是释放四个在押的恐怖分子。副总监情知事态严重，但政府高官皆在国外参加重要会议，无暇他顾。万般无奈之下，副总监只得担任总指挥，吩咐手下追踪炸弹来源和文森的踪迹。
