简　　介
　　由于童年缺失亲生父母的关爱，从小在寄养家庭长大的米歇尔养成了“独立”“自负”“不相信他人”的个性，面对其他人，都是一副“老娘最牛”的姿态，对合作伙伴、下属皆是一张高傲的嘴脸，所以当她因内幕交易被判入狱8个月后，没有人站出来为她说话，甚至在出狱后，也没有人愿意伸出援手。然而，曾经被她无视的助理、单身母亲克莱尔（克里斯汀·贝尔 饰）却成为她唯一的救命稻草。米歇尔利用克莱尔的同情心，在对方的家中落脚，并重新摆出了曾经的老板姿态。在一次被强迫去替克莱尔开家长会后，米歇尔在学校中突然发现了“商机”——带领一群乳臭未干的奇葩少女卖起了克莱尔制作的布朗尼蛋糕，并将所取得的一部分利润用作这些少女的大学基金。
　　随着生意越做越火，米歇尔引起了前任男友兼现任敌手雷诺（彼特·丁拉基 饰）的注意，为了复仇，雷诺从中作梗挑拨克莱尔与米歇尔的关系，这让米歇尔极度不满，又变回了曾经那个自私、偏执的个性。在经历了一系列事件后，米歇尔终于认识到自己对待事业、朋友时的错误，于是她开始计划改变自己。
