简　　介
　　故事发生在一家广播电台里，阿兰（史蒂夫·库根 Steve Coogan 饰）是一档谈话节目的主持人，曾经，他也有过辉煌的过去，然而，一场意外让他的事业和名声都跌到了谷底，如今，他只能在这个名不见经传的小地方主持他那没有多少人关注的广播节目。
　　某日，广播电台被一家跨国连锁 企业所受够，一位名叫派特（彼得·贝恩汉姆 Peter Baynham 饰）的广播员因此而失去了工作，正当大家以为这件事情所带来的风波已经平息之时，早先离开的派特却带着枪支弹药杀回了电台，占领了办公室。派特的情绪十分激动，让众人没有想到的是，他唯一同意与之交流沟通的人竟然正是阿兰。就这样，阿兰被推上了最危险的前线，亦成为了媒体和警方关注的焦点。
