简　　介
　　内森（罗曼·杜里斯 Romain Duris 饰）在小时候曾经经历过一次严重的车祸，险些丧命，然而在鬼门关里走了一遭的他如今已经成长为一名事业有成的律师，并拥有美丽的妻子和可爱的女儿。然而他却因为整日忙于事务无暇顾及家庭，与妻女的距离愈来愈远。直到有一天，一位素未谋面的凯伊医生（约翰·马尔科维奇 John Malkovich 饰）来访，声称他能预见一个人的死亡，此行是想提醒内森他已阳寿将尽。一开始内森只当他是危言耸听，然而接下来发生的种种，却令内森不得不开始相信医生所言，这个通灵人原来专门负责提醒那些时日不多的人安排余下生活，莫留遗憾。在无力的迷茫与绝望中，内森发现原来只有在即将失去的时候，才看见身边最值得珍惜的美好……
