简　　介
　　影片改编自真实事件。麦克（萨姆·沃辛顿 Sam Worthington 饰）是一个个性不太讨人喜欢的侦探，在前妻帕姆（杰西卡·查斯坦 Jessica Chastain 饰）的委托下，他与好友布莱恩（杰弗里·迪恩·摩根 Jeffrey Dean Morgan 饰）正在调查一起诡异的凶杀案。
　　案发地点位于德州的沿海油田，那里的偏僻和荒凉令它成为了凶手们弃尸的绝佳地点，因此被称为“德州杀场”。迄今为止，有近60具年轻女性的尸体在这里被发现。经过缜密的推理和调查，麦克与布莱恩将目标锁定在了一个小混混的身上，很显然，名叫安妮（科洛·莫瑞兹 Chloe Moretz 饰）的女孩是这个混混的下一个目标。追踪着安妮的踪迹，侦探们来到了德州杀场，他们明白，事件的真相就在那里，等待着他们。
