　　以《教父》等黑道经典片位蓝本的无厘头搞笑电影，描述不按牌理出牌的老教父文森佐，因为年事已高，加上黑道势力重组，正面临挑选接班人的压力，在３个儿子当中到底应该选择火爆的乔易，还是沙场战将安东尼继承衣钵呢，擅长拍摄这类影片的吉姆亚波拉汉思，这次抛开老搭档莱思力尼尔森，改用外形较为瘦削的老演员劳爱德扮演教父，选角恰当，也能在对白上表达一贯的插科打诨伎俩，发挥出讽刺效果。但整体而言未能脱离同系列影片的俗套，有些笑话品味不高。
