简　　介
　　常言道“金屋、银屋，不如自己的狗屋”，世上没有一个地方能与家相提并论。本片主人公的家就在美国迈阿密市南海滩旁一栋破旧不堪的老人院里。他们是4位已过花甲之年的老头子，分别叫Bobby Bartellemeo、“黑蝙蝠”Joey Pistella、“钢砖”Mike Donatelli 和“大嘴巴”Tony Donato。别看他们现在穷困潦倒，年轻哪会可都是久经沙场的黑手党成员。
　　白色的沙滩上，性感女模cavort正在搔首弄势，为高级时装杂志拍封面照片，可他们却无心欣赏，因为他们即将面临被赶出老人院的命运。老人院的对面是繁华的商业区，地段很好。业主打算把这群糟老头赶出去，然后对旧房屋重新翻新一下，这样就可以吸引更多高级房客，收更高的租金，赚更多的钱。
　　虽然已到迟暮之年，但老人们人老心不老。为了要保住老人院，也就是他们的家，四人决定重操旧业。他们构思了一个表面看似简单，其实奥妙无穷的“保家计划”。在计划实施过程中，没想到还被一个毒品贩缠上，要他们帮忙对付与他有仇的黑帮成员。可惜他们忽视了自己的年纪和身手，事未办成，却闹了不少笑话。
