简　　介
　　爱丽丝是一个性格内向的年轻女子，她试图安慰她被男友欺骗的闺蜜卡罗尔。卡罗尔喝醉了，并服用了摇头丸，在爱丽丝公寓大楼的屋顶喧闹。爱丽丝也喝多了，本想跟天台的卡罗尔开个玩笑，却不曾想失手把她从楼顶推下。
　　爱丽丝彻底惊慌失措，她迅速返回了她的公寓。
　　但是不可思议的是，卡罗尔奇迹般的没有死，但是她的身体却严重受损，成为了植物人。这场悲剧是爱丽丝亲手造成的，她无法接受这样的事实，活在深深的内疚中。她用自己的身体交换来更多的药物和毒品来麻醉自己，最后她失去了睡眠也失去了工作。
