简　　介
　　葛雯（凯瑟琳?泽塔琼斯 饰）与埃迪（约翰?库萨克 饰）是一对银幕夫妻，他们一起拍的电影每部都十分卖座。但实际上他们的婚姻远远超出了观众的想象及宣传的效果。
　　葛雯是个极度自我的女明星，她有一个身兼助理的妹妹琦琦（茱丽娅?罗伯茨 饰），她对霸道的姐姐十分忍让，性格温和的琦琦一直暗恋着姐夫埃迪。当葛雯跟埃迪吵架，她总会出面安慰埃迪。葛雯与埃迪的婚姻已经濒临破裂，因为葛雯认识了新欢。而他们最后一次合作的电影《Time over Time》快要上画，这是高额制作的电影，电影公司十分紧张。但性情奇怪的导演哈尔不让任何人知道任何剧情。在电影快要上映期间，反目成仇的两人再次被拉到一起，他们在众多记者面前表现出十分和睦的一面，但私下他们却互不想让，虽然此时埃迪还是喜欢着妻子。经过这些天的相处后，埃迪终于明白自己爱的人到底是谁。
