简　　介
　　艺术系学生丹尼（Dylan Purcell 饰）最近经历了失恋的打击：女友不声不响搬走了所有个人物品。丹尼找到正在医院戒毒的好友寻求安慰，无意中瞥见病房中因罹患“短暂清醒综合症”而昏睡的姑娘巴克斯特（Cherilyn Wilson 饰），丹尼对其一见倾心。隔壁监控病室关押着的心理变态催眠师沃尔普以及用病人做试验的医生们让丹尼对巴克斯特的前景担忧，他潜回医院，带走了姑娘。
　　巴克斯特在梦境中无法挣脱怪异的镜面幻境。丹尼抓住一切巴克斯特不多的清醒时间，试图使她回归正常生活，然而医院中的沃尔普坚称自己对巴克斯特的所有权，并侵入她的思想。警察很快为搜寻巴克斯特找到丹尼的住处，但真正的威胁，来自疯狂的催眠师沃尔普……
