　　说起电玩改编电影，就不能不提起《魔宫帝国》。这部影片在1995年推出，以魔幻世界、东方武术和电脑特效作卖点，上映后大受欢迎，所取得的7千多万美元票房，更让她在电玩改编电影排行榜上高居榜首之位达6年之久。《魔》电影版改编自1992推出的同名电玩，与《街头霸王》一样吃重於格斗的场面，不过剧中主角的设计安排就与电玩中的角色颇相似，这点就较讨好电玩迷们。《魔》电影版以2千多万美元成本拍摄，在全球推出后创下卖座佳绩，便紧接开拍续集。
