　　圣诞不全是热闹温馨的正面作品，也有一些人喜欢在这个佳节制造暴力血腥，本片就是一个例子。剧情描述凯蒂的父亲在圣诞舞会中因扮演圣诞老人而被杀，接着一连串扮演圣诞老人的人陆续死于非命。哈利斯警官怀疑凶手是凯蒂的男朋友克利夫，但鲍尔探长却接到神秘电话表示此案乃哈利斯所为。经过凯蒂的努力追查，真相一步一步揭露出来。这个以苏格兰场办案为题材的悬疑谋杀片。剧本写得有点零乱，凶手到底是谁令人感到混淆不清，导演埃德蒙·普登同时出任片中的男主角，但两方面都表现差劲。
