简　　介
　　艾瑞克正在念高中毕业班，当他的同学们沿着通向大学的老路前进时，热爱滑板运动的艾瑞克却选择了另一个方向。他和他的好朋友达斯廷和马特跃跃欲试，希望能引起职业滑板界的注意，进入专业的行列。
　　当滑板明星杰米·威尔森来到他们住的城市，几个人一商议，觉得只要威尔森注意到自己的滑板技术，肯定会马上让他们加入他手下的职业队伍。可惜他们的计划被威尔森的巡演经理阻止了。不过他们还是得到了一些建议：坚持，忠于自己，只要你够好，会有人注意到的。
　　三个人于是组建了自己的滑板队，追随着自己的梦想，——也追随着杰米的全国巡演，从芝加哥一路跟到了加利福尼亚的圣莫卡。
　　职业滑板界并不太欢迎这样的业余爱好者，但这些疯狂的少年经过种种麻烦和考验一直坚持到底，一路耍出各种手段，碰见各种滑板职业选手和冠军，以及漂亮姑娘，并终于让滑板界另眼相看。
