简　　介
　　一个被称为“火把”（尚格·云顿 Jean-Claude Van Damme 饰）的变态杀手的出现让西雅图市市民陷入了恐慌之中，作为负责此案的警官，杰克（迈克尔·鲁克 Michael Rooker 饰）和其搭档安吉（凯瑟琳·丹特 Catherine Dent 饰）对杀手进行了长时间的追击，几经交手后，虽然“火把”负伤，但还是逃之夭夭。
　　杰克的退休日眼看就要来临，虽然案件没有水落石出，但他还是决定放下手中的一切，安享闲散生活，而就在这个节骨眼上，杰克得知了“火把”的下一个目标竟然就是自己的母亲的惊人消息。利用“火把”的DNA，政府将“火把”克隆了出来，根据克隆人的思维模式来推测真正的“火把”的行动规律。虽然克隆“火把”并不邪恶，但深藏在他基因中的犯罪基因却像一个定时炸弹般随时都要爆发。在双重威胁中，杰克能够获得最终的胜利吗？
