简　　介
　　贫穷的包芬格一心想拍电影和当电影制片人，虽然他没有任何名气，但他却千方百计的想要挤进好莱坞的上流社会。他有一只宠物母狗名字叫贝西，喜欢仰卧睡觉，他刚找到一个新剧本，并对房东及邻居以及洗车场的伙计夸下海口，他想邀请好莱坞著名的黑人动作明星凯特·瑞姆斯在他的影片中主演主角，但是黑人影星不答应拍这部片子，因为钱太少了遭到拒绝，然后叫保镖威胁他，并把他扔下车。
　　不放弃的包芬格觉得没脸面对周围的朋友，他决心无论如何都要让瑞姆斯出现在电影中。于是下定决心的宝芬戈和他的助手们在洛杉矶的街道上开始跟踪偷拍毫不知情的瑞姆斯，他们拍下他所有的活动并且还故意引他出现在镜头中，随着包芬格疯狂的计划越来越过分，瑞姆斯的生活也越来越乱成一团。他骗想当明星的房东姐弟来演这部片子，然后邻居负责当副官及道具师，然后又让想当摄影师的洗车场的伙计去偷摄影机、胶卷，以及各种道具窃听喇叭、高跟鞋。这时，又有一个做明星梦的女孩找上门来，包芬格本不想要她，但房东的弟弟爱她，于是她成了另一个女主角。……
