简　　介
　　小狐狸陶德（米基·鲁尼 Mickey Rooney 配音）刚出生不久，母亲就被猎人杀害了。幸运的是他被一名老妇人（珀尔·贝利 Pearl Bailey 配音）收养。陶德自幼最好的朋友是一只猎狗小铜（库尔特·拉塞尔 Kurt Russell 配音），一起嬉戏玩耍，童年在无忧无虑中度过了。小铜的主人是一个猎人，每年冬天都要带猎狗去山里打猎，随着小铜长大，猎人觉得是时候带他去山里锻炼了。春天到了，经过了一个冬天，陶德与小铜都长大了，也知道彼此是天敌的命运，他们的友谊渐渐出现危机。淘德在一次外出中，照顾小铜的老狗老大在追逐陶德的时候，意外的被火车撞伤，生命垂危。于是猎人就带着小铜追捕淘德。昔日两个好朋友之间的斗争不可避免。小铜步步紧逼出逃的淘德，不想它们遭遇到了熊，淘德原本可以借此机会摆脱小铜的追捕，但危机关头，陶德将会如何抉择……
