简　　介

        导演阐述
　　1984年，我拍摄了《妙想天开》，我觉得那部电影在当时描绘了我们的生活；而《零点定理》就是一部描绘我们现在生活的电影。Pat Rushin的剧本启发了我的神经和触感。是什么让我们的生活有意义并且令人幸福？我们能在这个联系得越来越紧密的世界里独善其身么？我们是不是被操纵的人？我试着把一部电影拍摄得有趣、诙谐、自然而且美丽、惊人。这是一部简单的电影，讲述的是人类最根本的情感体验——对爱情的追求、对意义的追问，以及对自己生命的体验。影片中有很棒的表演和不同凡响的人物。我希望，这部电影是一部人们不常看到的电影——这里面没有僵尸、没有披着斗篷的十字军，更没有异形——对于最后一点，我不敢打包票。这几十年以来，我没有拍摄过这么小投资的电影，所以我被迫工作得很快，而且很多决定是凭借直觉做出的。在拍摄期间，我一直都有金钱和时间上的压力。在这种情况下，这部电影充满了奇思妙想的创意和各种惊人的情节——其实，最后的结果，连我也震惊了。能参与到《零点定理》的拍摄之中，我自己也感觉到很荣幸。
