Despite thedisappointing results of suchearlierefforts asRadio City Revels and NewFaces of 1937, RKO gamelytriedagain with1945's Radio Stars on Parade.The film's ostensibleleadingactors areplayed by Abbott & Costellowannabes Wally Brownand AlanCarney,who play a couple of agentsattempting to bestow radiostardomuponsinger Sally Baker (FrancesLangford). Along the way, ourheroesstumbleinto a broadcast of RalphEdwards' popular comedy quiz showTruthorConsequences, easily the film'shighlight.
