　　阿兰（丹尼·伯恩 Dany Boon 饰）和瓦莱丽（瓦莱丽·博纳东 Valérie Bonneton 饰）结婚多年，共同生养了一个美丽乖巧的女儿，然而，夫妻两人同样火爆的个性令这段并不怎么和谐的婚姻最后以离婚告终，他们彼此都发誓这辈子也不愿意再见到对方。一晃眼，女儿长大成人，即将步入婚礼的殿堂，成为别人的妻子。在如此重要的时刻，女儿希望能够得到父亲和母亲的祝福，就这样，为了参加女儿的婚礼，阿兰的瓦莱丽踏上了旅途。让两人没有想到的是，他们竟然搭上了同一班飞机，意外的重逢使那些不愉快的旧日回忆一一闪现，两人相互刁难，争锋相对。一场意外令瓦莱丽错过了公车，于是，她决定和阿兰拼车，共同抵达目的地。
