简　　介  
　　科林尼特利制作、导演并改编了H.E.贝茨的短篇小说《可爱的农场》（The Little Farm）。小说讲述的是五十年代中期的一个中年男人的恋爱故事。奥勒夫（Rolf Lassgard）是一个四十岁的单身汉，从九年前母亲去世后，就独自一人居住在瑞典西部自家的农场上。他唯一的朋友以前是个水手，27岁，名叫埃瑞克（Johan Widerberg饰）。埃瑞克总爱在奥勒夫面前大讲自己的艳史，欺负奥勒夫宽厚老实。奥勒夫在报纸上登广告招聘管家，一个迷人的中年女子埃伦（Helena Bergstrom饰）应征而来。奥勒夫和埃瑞克都爱上了埃伦，而埃伦却爱上了奥勒夫，对埃瑞克并不信任。埃瑞克决心查明埃伦究竟是为什么来到这座边远之地的败农场的。 　　"在太阳底下"这部影片在三位主演的精湛演技和詹斯费歇尔（Jens Fischer）的经典摄影而著称。女主角海伦娜贝里斯特姆是导演的妻子。
