　　在湿热茂密的哥伦比亚热带丛林里，一组秘密行进中的美国海豹突击队员在侦察任务时遭遇意外，为摆脱罪名挽救自身，他们开始了一场未知之旅。
　　和前几部系列电影一样，本片延续了战争、惊悚、动作的主线，深不可测的原始森林和动人心魄的战斗元素，使得本片张力十足，而R级的评定也预示着影片场面的火爆刺激。哥伦比亚一片混乱，政府军和反叛组织剑拔弩张，一组海豹突击队员奉命秘密调查双方的谈判会议，然而侦查过程中政府和反叛组织双方头目意外被杀，海豹突击队员因此卷入争端。为了摆脱罪名，并防止战火燃烧过边境，以肖恩少尉为首的海豹突击队必须冲破双方的包围，并随时提防热带丛林中的恶劣环境、蚊虫侵扰等……
