　　奥罗拉（雪莉·麦克雷恩 Shirley MacLaine 饰）早年间失去了自己的女儿，女儿留下了三个孩子汤米（乔治·纽伯恩 George Newbern 饰）、泰迪（麦肯齐·阿斯丁 Mackenzie Astin 饰）和梅兰妮（朱丽叶特·刘易斯 Juliette Lewis 饰），这三个不省心的孩子让奥罗拉无法安度晚年，操碎了心。
