简　　介  
　　默里斯·克特林是一个来自巴黎的手艺初中的裁缝，他因为欠了一个爵士一大笔钱。在他进退维谷的时候，一名著名的但却没多少钱的贵族让默里斯进入了查特的家庭，并把他当作是一位出身高贵的公爵。默里斯高雅的谈吐和举止很快就迷住了这整个高贵的家族，除了淘气顽皮的公主珍妮特。因为珍妮特仍然很怀疑他。珍妮特是一名非常美丽但是孤独的女孩，默里斯很快就爱上了她。过了一段时间，珍妮特也慢慢地消除了怀疑，喜欢上了默里斯。对于珍妮特赫莫里斯而言，事情看起来发展得很好。但天有不测风云，就在这个时候，莫里斯的债主发现了他找上门来，于是珍妮特发现默里斯除了是一个裁缝，什么都没有……
