简　　介　
　　同丈夫离婚后，年轻的妈妈玛丽（洛南·布雷科 Lorraine Bracco 饰）带着两个孩子麦克（伊利亚·伍德 Elijah Wood 饰）和巴比（约瑟夫·梅泽罗 Joseph Mazzello 饰）搬到了加州，希望能够在那里开始全新的生活。可是，生活是如此的不易，巨大的压力和拮据的经济让玛丽感到喘不过气来。
