简　　介
　　两位已卸任的陆军军官，在美国德州南方沙漠某地，意外发现一个警徽和一个骷髅。于是邻近小镇的警察山姆狄斯开始调查这一切的始末。初步调查中，山姆来到一间酒吧，在他和老板的谈话过程中，山姆从老板那里得到一些过去的事情，这其中还包括山姆的父亲鲍迪狄斯和一位恶名昭彰的警长，原来酒吧老板曾经受迫于这个无恶不做的警长，但是又无可奈何。于是，一连串的老故事和新发现由此开始……
