简　　介
　　童年的特殊经历让琳达（梅兰尼·格里菲斯 Melanie Griffith 饰）练就了一口流利的德语，但迫于紧张的战争情势，说德语在琳达的生活中是被禁止的。一次应聘中，琳达无意之中流露了她出色的语言天赋，此时老板爱德（迈克尔·道格拉斯 Michael Douglas 饰）正需要一个会德语的秘书，琳达成为了不二人选。
　　随着时间的流逝，琳达和爱德之间的关系越来越密切，战争的爆发让琳达意识到，看似从商的爱德实际上是一名情报收集人员，而她已经无可救药的爱上了他。战争让这对恋人分割两地，之后，琳达再次成为了爱德的得力下属。一次需要潜入德国的危险任务中，琳达主动请缨，爱德与其约定一周后必须离开德国，琳达却失约了。在琳达的身上到底发生了什么？她是否安全？对此爱德一无所知。
