　　25歳にして、自主映画界で注目を浴びてきた監督?二宮健の商業映画デビュー作『THE LIMIT OF SLEEPING BEAUTY－リミット?オブ?スリービング ビューティ－』が10月に公開されることが決定し、映画初主演の桜井ユキが主人公を、高橋一生がその恋人を演じていることが明らかになった。 　本作は、中学時代から40本以上の自主映画を作りつづけ、『SLUM-POLIS』や『MATSUMOTO TRIBE』など発表する作品が次々と話題になってきた気鋭?二宮監督の満を持しての商業映画デビュー作。二宮監督は本作の脚本も手掛けており、現実と妄想が目まぐるしく交錯するストーリーをスタイリッシュな映像で見せる。
　　物語の主人公?オリアアキは、29歳の売れない女優。毎日、小さなサーカス団でマジシャンの助手をしていて、30歳を目の前にしても仕事への熱も生きる目標もない。ルーティンワークのように繰り返されるのは、催眠術にかかるという演技。そんなアキの精神は徐々に摩耗し、いつしか現実と妄想の境界が破たんを迎えようとしていた。唯一、アキの中で美しい思い出として残るのは恋人?カイトとの時間だった……。
　　主人公のアキを演じるのは、本作が映画初主演となる桜井ユキ。石井岳龍、園子温、三池崇史といった鬼才たちの作品に立て続けに出演するなど、注目株の女優だ。一方、その恋人?カイト役を大ブレイク中の高橋一生が務め、ひときわ優しい華を添える存在としての魅力を放つ。映画界が注目する若き才能がつくりあげた本作に期待が高まる。（編集部?石神恵美子）
