简 介
飞利浦·阿什来有一个他非常亲密和热爱的表兄弟，名叫阿姆布罗斯，而且，阿姆布罗斯也是一个非常富有的人，但是突然有一天，阿姆布罗斯死去了。飞利浦·阿什来觉得事情有些蹊跷，认为阿姆布罗斯可能是他的信任妻子雷谢尔所杀，雷谢尔杀死他的目的就是为了继承遗产。于是，他前往阿姆布罗斯的家，在那里，他碰到了美丽的雷谢尔，却禁不住爱上了这位刚刚守寡的新妇。在爱情的漩涡中，阿什来不再怀疑雷谢尔，并且认为自己以前的怀疑是没有根据的。但是，雷谢尔为什么会爱上飞利浦·阿什来呢？她莫非是想利用阿什来获得他的表兄弟留给她的遗产？雷谢尔会不会再次杀了阿什来？……
