简　　介　
　　凯特（希拉里·斯万克 Hilary Swank 饰）是一名古典钢琴家，然而，依靠双手吃饭的她却偏偏患上了无法治愈的肌萎缩性侧索硬化症，生活不能自理。凯特的丈夫（乔什·杜哈明 Josh Duhamel 饰）整日忙于工作，无暇照顾妻子，于是决定替妻子聘请一位看护，大学生贝卡（埃米·罗森 Emmy Rossum 饰）前来应聘。
