简　　介　
　　十岁的杰西最好的朋友波比要搬走了，她感到十分沮丧。她古怪的姑姑米莉决定告诉她另一个十岁女孩子的故事，那个女孩子叫凯迪，她和杰西不在同一个时空，最想要的东西是去滑冰。当凯迪在她家门外的滑冰场练习时，与一个叫做奥托的前奥林匹克滑冰冠军交上了朋友，奥托教她怎样才是标准的滑冰技术。随着时间过去，凯迪滑得越来越好。但是凯迪的父亲失业了，全家要搬去另一个城市，凯迪很伤心。这个时候，在北极圈，圣诞老人和他的小精灵正在庆祝小驯鹿的诞生，它的名字叫做”暴风雪”。小驯鹿很快就拥有了三样特殊功能：飞翔、隐形、导航—能用它的心看见东西。小驯鹿感觉到凯迪的悲伤，就飞去她家安慰她。尽管北极圈有严格的要求，小驯鹿还是让凯迪明白真正的朋友是不曾分开的。但是，小驯鹿必须为它自己的违反规则承受惩罚，只有真正的友谊才能令它免受责难。
