简 介

塞缪尔·福勒是美国最著名的B级片导演之一（B级片即一种成本较低的影院加映片），他始终坚持着自己黑色、暴力的电影风格，宁可几年息影也从不向片商妥协退让。塞缪尔·福勒在美国乃至世界独立制片界都享有极高的地位，他的影片受到戈达尔的高度赞扬，丹尼斯·霍普曾指导过以他为题材的影片《最后的电影》，贾木许、塔伦蒂诺等年轻导演也一直把他视为偶像。
