简　　介
　　纽约第六辖区同性恋圈发生一连串凶杀案，在哈得孙（Hudson）河里找到的尸体碎块显示是同一同性恋杀手所为，当地警方饱受上级的压力和同性恋团体的抗议。苦于线索匮乏，艾多森组长派警员史提夫（Al Pacino饰）装扮成与被害者相似的同性恋者前去卧底，刑事组干探亦利用应召男妓做线民暗中追查。没有携带枪支和警徽的史提夫在同性恋世界中深受其苦，日日面对反常的男人，渐渐感到心理上的压力，且因曾亲见嫌犯史奇普里被严刑逼供的惨状，心中十分厌恶此任务，然而职责所在，只有硬撑到底。终于在哥大的学生资料上查获可靠线索，案情渐渐浮出水面，史提夫的心理创伤却难以平复。
