简　　介
　　故事讲述的环境是在荒凉的西部，有个喜好吹牛和赌博的外地人名叫John McCabe，他在这个小镇上开了一家妓院，不久职业是妓女的 Miller夫人前来助阵。妓院的生意十分红火，他们因此赚得不少钱，两人之间的距离越来越近。随着小镇上的矿业逐渐壮大，吸引了更多的人来这里创业。 John McCabe的生意也遭到了对手。有大鱼前来吃掉他这个小鱼，他面临着充当真英雄或牛皮吹破的选择。
