◎简　　介　

　　1969年伦敦，两个处于“休眠期”（解雇的和没有人雇佣的）演员Withnail和Marwood，寄生在一个潮湿、寒冷的环境中，那儿有洗盘子的工人、狂热的药贩子和发疯了的爱尔兰人。
　　他们决定离开这个肮脏的地方到乡下去，在Withnail叔叔Monty家的小别墅里过一段田园式的生活。
　　但是当他们到达那儿时，整天下着雨，没有食物，就连他们基本的生存技能也不够用。还好叔叔Monty的到来，把他们遇到的麻烦都化解了。只不过新的问题又出现了，Monty似乎对Marwood显得过分热情……
