　　布雷克（Michael Pitt 饰）一个通身充满忧郁气质、内心敏感纤细的音乐人。商品社会和都市喧嚣已经让他精疲力竭，他从大都会逃脱，躲在森林中的别墅。穿着怪异的他每日喃喃自语在林中穿梭游荡，荣誉和金钱，地位与名望在这一刻全部失去了意义。即便如此，周遭的世界仍不断侵犯着布雷克最后的领地。朋友、经纪人、录音室、陌生人……你来我往，不绝如缕，而真正有几人关心布雷克内心的嬗变？几日的独处后，布雷克独自在地下室演奏最后一支曲子，随后仰望天堂，不再回还……
　　本片根据涅磐乐队（Niravana）主唱柯特?科本（Kurt Cobain）生前最后的一段经历改编，荣获2005年戛纳电影节技术大奖。
