　　巴基斯坦女孩马拉拉因争取女性接受教育权而闻名。她勇于表达意见，大力的提倡、争取并捍卫儿童，特别是女童的受教权，却被塔利班剥夺了接受基本教育的权利。2012年，15岁的马拉拉在巴基斯坦放学回家途中，遭到塔利班枪手袭击，她的头部受到重创，后来奇迹般康复，马拉拉被送到英国接受治疗及休养，她的父母及两名弟弟随后也移居英国。袭击事件促进了“马拉拉基金会”的成立，她在联合国发表的演讲也引起全世界的高度关注。
　　马拉拉的父亲以被杀死的巴基斯坦民间英雄迈万德的马拉拉给女儿命名，但真正赋予马拉拉改变世界的力量的却是她自己。
