　　本部改编自莫扎特著名歌剧《魔笛》的剪纸动画短片，围绕捕鸟人帕帕盖诺，讲述了一段有情人终成眷属的爱情故事。男主人公帕帕盖诺是个快乐的捕鸟人，在丛林中他邂逅了美丽的少女，两人迅速坠入爱河。但是凶猛的巨蛇却带走了他的爱人。历经一段千辛万苦后，帕帕盖诺终于同他所爱慕的少女一起，开始了光明而美好的幸福生活。
　　这部制作于1935年的剪纸动画短片，由德国女导演洛特·雷妮格执导。作为剪影电影的先驱者，洛特用剪刀和纸张创造出了一个令人惊异的动画艺术世界。然而这种非凡的影像表达手法，却因巨大的工作量，而没有成为当时动画艺术中的主流。洛特正是驾驭了这种难以比拟与超越的动画形式，配合莫扎特深厚的音乐旋律，树立起一座别致的动画艺术丰碑。她也被认为是德国影坛的伟大人物之一。
